Two criminal defendants were charged with arson and attempted murder after setting fire to an apartment in New York City. A 26 year old man from Queens was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated after a police officer on routine patrol witnessed him driving erratically along Queens Boulevard. Two armed men robbed a Queens Bank at gunpoint yesterday and stole $800,000 in cash. The bank robbery happened in Ozone Park Queens, NY, when two men waited for employees of the bank to open for the business day. An unknown gunman shot two teenage boys over the weekend, seriously injuring one and fatally killing the other. The 15 year old boy was shot once in the abdomen, hip and foot and was taken to the nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. He remains hospitalized.
